Any band that describes themselves as “Experiential Spiritual Folk-Rock//New Mexican Space Music” is going to grab your attention. Definitely one of the more eclectic bands from the Story conference in Chicago, The Soil & The Sun put on an energetic set that didn’t disappoint. They were definitely a fun band to shoot.
Lots of band members made for a lot of variety, but also presented some challenges in getting a good clean shot. Even with that challenge, the crazy cool stage sets at Story made shooting each of the bands and the speakers a lot of fun and kept things visually interesting. Here are a few of my favorites from The Soil & The Sun’s set.
