Back in April, we took the family down to Destin, FL for Spring Break. We met up with my 2 brothers and their families for a little fun on the beach. We took this same trip last year and had so much fun we’ve decided to make it an annual thing. We spent most of our time doing your typical family vacation stuff. Lots of lounging around at the beach and by the pool, great meals with family and tons of laughter. Just what the doctor ordered.
That said, I didn’t really get out much to do the photography thing. I only made it out one morning for a sunrise shoot. As we drove in earlier in the week, I noticed this area along the highway where there are these gorgeous sand dunes. It’s some kind of nature preserve so you can’t get up on the dunes, but you can walk the beach all around them.
I was fortunate to pick a great morning to go out and shoot. The Weather was perfect and there was a beautiful sky. If only every morning looked like this…
