A few weeks ago I visited Chicago with my family. I’ve been there many times before and it’s always a great time. I’m continually struck by the sites and sounds of this beautiful city, but this time around, the architecture really grabbed my eye. I loved the old buildings contrasted against the new. I loved how the skyscrapers seemed to keep reaching forever up into the sky. I played around a lot with lines and angles. Some things I liked, some I didn’t. That’s always the way isn’t it? Keep trying new things and keep learning.
Here are a few of my favorites from this trip. Be sure to click through to see additional images. I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments.
Jeff,
I have traveled Chicago my whole life and never thought that I would see it in this fashion. The pictures are amazing. I think some time I will have to go and just walk around the skyscrapers and see what you have captured in your pictures. Next time your up this way we will have to have you come for dinner!!!
Thanks Christina. Hope all is well with you and the family.
