A couple of weeks ago I had the privilege of joining my friends from Sanctus Real out on the road. I was filling in for Pete on guitar at the Iowa State Fair. Anytime I get to play with these guys it’s an awesome experience and this show was certainly no exception. We were opening up for Casting Crowns that night which was a thrill in itself.

Many more stories from that weekend, but for now I simply wanted to share some images from the Casting Crowns show.

After our set was finished, off went the guitar and on went the camera. As a musician, playing these kinds of shows is like living a dream for me. As a photographer, the access I get is unprecedented. No 3 song limits. No being confined to the photo pit. Gotta love it.
